the AVENUE show
Sat. 2-15-03~ With 5 bands playin' and Explicit Nothing headlining, Hillspot took the show away up first. The boi' played a lot of their new songs and really blowed Explicit outta their shoes. Lead singer, Jon Thompson came up to me and was like 'damn Hillspot is good, REALLY good!'. They're lookin' to schedule more shows together. DA Guys had no problem fittin' into the Kent Scene and the other bands. Up after that was illvision, Etched In Pain, Perfect Dephect and Explicit Nothing. All the bands were totally kickass. We give credit to Perfect Dephect for their awesome performance.. and lookin' forward to playin' with everyone again.

Boys N Girls 2
Nov. 1st, 2002~ Featuring Spitting Onions and Eau d'Couer (however the F* you spell it) =] heh... this show was pretty laid back. Considering noone told anyone about it ...(intentionaly) there were few HILLSP*T fans... but a whole lotta old skool puNkish fans there. This would be the last show b4 recording and a run through of what exactly they wan't to put on the c.d. And with no regrets the boi's say "this show was all for US and
noone else". It's nice just to get a little self satisfaction every now and then.. So, see ya at the neXt show.. but 'till then.. happy recording! !! ! !! !

BoiSnGirlS club (massillon, OH.) ~
Oh shit, YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU MISSED!!!! The guys ultimate goal was to put on a kickass show that would leave fans speechless... Well, w/ outta doubt HILLSPOT keeps their promises! In a blacklight filled room w/ eager rockthirsty (TRUE!) fans Tom ripped off his shirt, exposing his BADASS blacklight sensitive painted Bod. His hair even glowed! The boi looked like he jumped outta a Red Hot Chilli Peppers video. Regardless, they eye candy sex sybol WAS red hot! Playing all their well known songs, the first premeire of 'daydream' was played 'n it got a positive response. To leave their signature... HILLSPOT left w/ the song 'RED' (toms fav.) jumpin' all over with special strobe light treatment, imprinted in everyones minds.

Sade Rene's (Canton,OH.) ~
With very little energy left in them from the afternoon battle of the bands @ Peabodys, HILLSPOT got the Sade's jumpin' later that night! The place was packed & the band boosted up their confidents. With all the frumpin' we also seen some brotherly love. Voxsubtre got up and made some noise 4 HILLSPOT on stage, & vice versa. Although, the band didn't do so well @Peabodys they can all agree it was a kickass performance @Sade's.

Adessi Center (Canton, OH.)  ~
Playing w/ 4 other bands HILLSPOT was first to rock the stage. Underneath colored lights, in a huge ass room filled w/ smoke & fans and about 100 other music junkies the show began to start. The only dilema here was trying to be accepted by the other "heavier bands" fans. Being Tom's first performance on stage as the new singer, he seemed to work the crowd w/ no sweat. The bouncin' of the crowd wasn't as satisfying as other shows but everyone seemed to love HILLSPOT. With such an amazing show it resulted in some kick ass wild after parties!!
